This is the view from one of the windows in the chapel. I really like these flowers and sometimes when it is nice and sunny out and we are in a chapel service in the morning, I will glance out and I just feel inspired by this view. It kind of reminds me of the song "Love Song for a Saviour" by Jars of Clay. There is a part of the song that says this...
"In open fields of wild flowers
she breathes the air and flies away
she thanks her Jesus for the daises and the roses
in no simple language
someday she'll understand the meaning of it all"

  1. I love that song...and black-eyed susans have intrigued me since I was a little girl. In Maine, during the summertime they are scattered all along the sides of the highway. I remember wishing every time we traveled that we could pull over and pick a giant bouquet of them! haha :)

your pictures are beautiful steph! they are blessing to look at!
